Dr Osanda Wijeratne
Professional Accomplishments
Osanda is a Medical Administrator & GP with special interests in dermatology and cosmetic medicine, he is currently the Australian regional medical director of Recovery, the world’s leading laser tattoo removal company, he is also the medical director of a leading skin clinic in Sydney’s north shore, LAB Skin, where he propagates his passion for early detection and prevention of skin cancers as well as laser, rf and other dermal therapies to treat all manner of skin ailments and cosmetic concerns. He used to teach and examine at the Australian Academy of Cosmetic and Dermal Sciences from ‘19 to ‘21. He is also a health services, digital & tele-health clinical governance expert and medical advisor who has worked in executive positions within the NGO & GO, not-for-profit sectors in the UK & AU. He holds full medical board registration in the UK and Australia. His recent roles include Healthdirect Australia’s Deputy CMO & Clinical Director of their National Coronavirus Helpline and other ‘war-room’ pandemic related public health services at scale, including COVID contact tracing & case contact management.
